GIVING AND RECEIVING FEEDBACK

In this workshop you practise giving clear, respectful feedback and hearing it without shutting down. By doing this together, we make it possible for your team to grow, and start functioning on a higher level. Using our own situations, we try simple steps, swap roles and get you ready to apply them tomorrow.

OUTLINE

In the workshop, we will first touch upon what feedback really is and how it does and doesn't work. After we will start practicing right away:

  • How do we feel about giving and receiving feedback?
  • How can feedback be effective and what are absolute don'ts?
  • Practice with giving and receiving feedback
  • How to implement feedback in your future collaboration

WHY GIVING AND RECEIVING FEEDBACK?

Often when we work together, we find ourselves in situations where feedback stays bottled up. If this happens, small irritations grow into real problems. Clear, timely words can keep issues small, and a respectful way of giving and receiving feedback can also improve situations that are already sensitive. In this way, you help yourself and your colleagues to grow faster and build a team culture that people want to be part of.

RESULTS

After the workshop, you will understand the do's and don'ts as well as the limitations of proper feedback. Also you will feel more comfortable giving feedback, and knowing how to deal with it.
