When teams are formed, we often think about the knowledge and qualities needed to function well. But once you have worked together for a while, you start to notice how people naturally take on certain roles and avoid the ones that do not suit them. Belbin’s team roles model is one of the few empirical frameworks that explains team behaviour, rather than being based on psychological profiles like DISC. That makes it a very practical method to explore your team: which qualities are present and which are missing? Are multiple people drawn to the same role, and how is that playing out? Is something being overlooked, and how can that be improved? In this practical workshop, we will explore these questions together and help your team gain clarity and insight into how it really works.
